After a successful first week of the Showdown, we are back again for another week. All the games will be covered on our socials but the in-person visit will be made to the Rancho Cotate vs. Casa Grande matchup. Keep reading to find out the important information about the games highlighted!

Featured Showdown: Rancho Cotate vs. Casa Grande

Kickoff: 7:00 P.M.

Location: Rancho Cotate High School/ Rohnert Park, CA

Preview: Although league play won’t begin with this match, both teams are in the North Bay section and this game could potentially predict future standings. Rancho Cotate has played 3 games so far with a record of 2-1, and Casa Grande is currently 0-2. What an exciting game for both schools to start carving out a lead!

Matchup 2: Alisal vs. Hollister

Kickoff: 5:45 P.M.

Location: Alisal High School/ Salinas, CA

Preview: With a 13-1 record last season, Hollister will make a tough opponent in this match. This league game will be the first of Hollister’s season, and the second of Alisal’s. Will Hollister be able to have another almost undefeated season, or will Alisal pull off the upset?

Matchup 3: San Mateo vs. Hillsdale

Kickoff: 6:30 P.M.

Location: San Mateo High School/San Mateo, CA

Preview: The high schools are only ten minutes apart, but their girls’ flag football teams have never played each other before. With similar records in previous years, the win could go either way!
