Golden State Showdown: Week 4 Matchups Preview

It’s the fourth week of the Golden State Showdown and we are back for another week of exciting high school flag football matchups! Our coverage team will be heading over to Menlo School for Menlo vs. Los Gatos–an exciting game between two talent teams. Keep reading to hear about the other matchups highlighted:

Featured Showdown: Menlo vs Los Gatos

Date: 9/18/25

Kickoff: 5:30 P.M.

Location: Menlo School, Atherton.

Preview: Los Gatos, after an almost undefeated season last year, is coming back for the league championship and CCS title. They’ve been putting in the work during the off season, and it has shown through their 3-1 record. Menlo proved to be one of the best teams in the Bay, undefeated last season, and so far, this year as well. Both of these teams are some of the toughest in the area; this game will be a battle.

Matchup 2: Presentation vs Priory

Date: 9/18/25

Kickoff: 5:00 P.M.

Location: Woodside Priory School, Portola Valley.

Preview: Priory has a very short season this year, consisting of only six games, so it is likely they will be putting their all into every match. Presentation will be coming off an impressive win over Pioneer 20-0, so both teams will be fueled by momentum.

Matchup 3: St. Francis vs Los Altos

Date: 9/17/25

Kickoff: 7:30 P.M.

Location: Los Altos High School, Los Altos.

Preview: St. Francis was also one of the most impressive teams in the Bay last year, with strong offensive players. Will they be able to keep it up this season, and how will they hold against Los Altos’ strong defense?
