This September, the Golden State Storm will be diving into the innovative creativity that flows throughout the Bay Area. In doing so, our tables will be set up at two street festivals that foster connection and the bay’s vibrant culture: Oakland First Fridays and Sunday Streets San Francisco. Additionally, catch us repping Girls High School Flag Football at the Wilcox Chargers Showdown, September 26–27!
Oakland First Fridays- 9/5/2025
Join the movement and visit the Golden State Storm’s first tabling event at the Oakland First Fridays street festival. On September 5th, Oakland’s 27th and Telegraph Avenue will be decorated by local artists, vendors, and organizations including the Storm. Between 5-9:30 P.M., spin the wheel and win a prize: from stickers to wristbands and everything in between!
Sunday Streets San Francisco- 9/21/2025
See that bright Berkeley Blue and California Gold? That’s the Golden State Storm’s table among the vibrant community that is San Francisco. With 1.4 miles of car-free space in the Western Addition of San Francisco, locals can walk the streets from 12 to 4 P.M. on September 21st. If you missed our table at Oakland First Fridays, we will be bringing all the same gear: giveaway items, prize wheel, lanyards, and more so that you can rep the Storm!
The Charger Showdown- 9/26-27/2025
The Storm’s mission is to empower women and girls of all ages to excel at football. As the sport has grown in popularity across the country, it has taken a special root in the Bay Area. On September 26th and 27th, the Golden State Storm will be attending The Charger Showdown: a high school girls’ flag football tournament located at Wilcox High School. The wheel will once again be present so that anyone can earn giveaway items. Teams participating in the tournament will all receive welcome boxes from the Golden State Storm containing special giveaway items.
